Rich Asian Cuisine @ Banana Leaf Curry House, Greenbelt 3 Makati Philippines
Posted by CYeat Labels: Food, Makati, Philippines, TravelWhen you are weeks and thousand of miles away from home, you'll develop the cravings for some rich and sinful national cuisines. I was glad I found a restaurant offering Malaysian, Thai and Indonesian cuisines.
My expectations was not that high as it is very hard even for a restaurant to master cuisine from 1 country and this restaurant offers dishes from 3 countries. The internal decor is warm and welcome. I quickly ordered a cup of Lemon Grass with Honey drink and it was very refreshing.
The menu is very diverse with Roti, soup, appetizers, meat, seafood and desserts. You can find signature Malaysia cuisine like satay, laksa, roti canai, murtabak, bak kut teh etc. I ordered Penang Fried Rice with Salted Fish and Chicken & Tilapia Fillet with Assam Sambal Sauce. Both dishes are acceptable and tasted very good. I'll surely come back and taste the other Malaysian dishes on offer.
This post is a milestone for my blog. Yes, it is the 50th post and hope I'll have 500 more to share.

Nice find! I don't think I've stumbled across any restaurant that offers cuisines from 3 countries.
Thanks fren,
Tq for your kind comments. I'll surely continue blogging.
I like that fried rice a lot.. Used to eat it a lot. But eating these things a lot will surely affect our health right??
Not when you have Xenical! ;) It's the best anti-obesity pills I've come across. Ahem, I'm not doing an advertorial either. ;)
Hi My Frens,
Yes, you are correct, fried rice is quite fattening and need to be careful when consuming.
